Swedish Massage
Swedish is the most requested form of massage in the U.S, it includes a combination of several basic strokes arranged in a sequence designed to benefit the client's needs. The strokes can be described as long and flowing, kneading, friction, vibrations, percussions and passive stretches. These techniques are intend to reduce tension in the muscle tissue, improve circulation and relax the client. Pressure is always altered to meet your needs.
Deep Tissue
Deep Tissue is a type of massage intended to work on the deeper layers of soft tissue, muscle, tendon, and fascia. There is less emphasis on relaxation and more of a focus on specific goals to change the soft tissue; improved R.O.M, realign scar tissue, release adheasions or work out chronically tense muscle. I always work within a pain scale and adjust my pressure to the client's tolerance. Deep Tissue can be requested at anytime during the session at no extra charge.
